Sandstorm arrived in our farm in February 2003, first he was leased from his formed owners Providence Farm in USA and we definitely bought him at the end of 2004. Sandstorm has been a fabulous opportunity for us and each new born foal sired by him proves that we made the right choice. We have searched for a great stallion for a long long time. A stallion who will be able to improve the own qualities of our mares and to give them a bonus like his extreme beauty, magnetic Spanish eyes or incredible versatility. We know that Sandstorm is not the best horse in the world but for us he has all the capacities to put his own stamp as a great breeding stallion here in France and at an international level. Sandstorm was born in USA in 1989 at Providence Farm in California. As a youngster he already shown super abilities in the show arena. Shown for the first time in 1990 as a yearling colt Sandstorm won easily the Breeders Sweepstakes yearling colt championship at Region I, it was only the beginning of a very successful show career with an incredible number of wins in regional and class A Shows on several continents. He was shown at the National level as a futurity colt and won a great Top Ten at the Canadian Nationals! Sandstorm is not only beautiful but very trainable and gentle he won his first performance show in hunter pleasure at his very first outing under saddle and he met his rider just the day before!!! The years after he was shown in halter and led to several top honors at the Regional shows and he headed to Scottsdale in 1994 were he was Top Ten in Show Hack and Reserve Champion in dressage for the training levels 1 and 2!
It was time that Sandstorm proved himself as a show horse on the other side of the Atlantic coast. Imported in Germany by his first trainer Sandstorm was shown also at the Italian National Dressage championship were he placed 9th only among others breeds as big German warmbloods! He won in liberty and in halter. A Top Five at the All Nations Cup , at the European Championship and a Top Ten at the Worldchampionship in Paris came to crown him during his last show season in 1998 . More important he was awarded Gold Ribbon stallion at the Stallion Show in Aachen which is the reference for the breeding stallions in Europe. And in addition he was named Reserve Supreme Senior Champion Stallion at the same show! Sandstorm had very nice offspring in USA several of his babies grew up into stunning show horses among them a multiple hunter and western pleasure champion and another one unanimous champion at the Spanish futurities in California. His two first sons Positron PF and Monterey PF are multiple champions and winners in Endurance .This is the proof that Sandstorm passes his qualities into his foals. In USA Sandstorm bred daughters of US National Champion Fame VF, twice US National Reserve Champion Stallion Fadjur, some of his best sons as Fadjurs Prize , and Super Fad , and daughters of Sidi Brahim and Thee Egyptian Prince. Grand daughters of Padron, Pomeranets, Salon, Bask In Europe he had a few foals before we bought him and among them a super colt several time halter winner out of a World Champion mare straight spanish Basara Sayinara by Mel Nebli! The best ones have full confidence in him!
With all these varieties of bloodlines : Russian , Crabbet , Spanish, Polish , Egyptian and domestic Sandstorm always gave beauty and type , extreme correctness super movement but above all lovely characters. The abilities of Sandstorm are only the living proves of his unbelievable pedigree . His sire the famous stallion Fame VF is considered worldwide as one of the very best Bey Shah sons like his full brother US National Champion in Western Pleasure Rave VF or the famous stars producer RSD Dark Victory. Fame VF , US National Champion Stallion was himself a sire of legends , among them Sshameless who is multiple national winner and the youngest stallion ever to have sired a National Champion . Sschameless comes from exactly the same cross than Sandstorm as his dam is a daughter of GG Samir an half brother of *Sidi Brahim also the maternal grandsire of Sandy! A proven cross! Fame is also the sire of Desert Heat VF multiple National champion his latest title is a Canadian National Champion Stallion win in 2002. Fame produced as well outstanding stallions as great mares and dam of champions like Santa Fe, Treat Me Special, Little Liza Fame, MFA Ultra Violet and her full blood sister MFA Coming Up Roses ( dam of our Raves and Roses ) . In Europe Fame is known as the sire of the Triple Crown Stallion Essteem , himself sire of champions . Fame unfortunately died very young in 1994 but he let some of the most outstanding arabians in the world including Sandstorm. The dam line of Sandstorm is really nice too. His dam is Sids Marjuri a great and athletic grey mare dam of several champions in USA. Sids Marjuri was bred by Los Acres in California her sire is the famous *Sidi Brahim who was Spanish National Champion Stallion before being exported to America where he won a lot of others titles. *Sidi Brahim is a straight Spanish stallion with superb conformation and the famous Spanish look with these extraordinary big black eyes . Sidi Brahim is himself by Jacio sire of the well known GG Samir.
In his pedigree we find also Tabal who is nothing less than the father of the broodmare supreme Estopa dam of El Shaklan and Ibn Estopa, Bint Estopa, Estasha etc …. Sids Marjuri's dam is Marjuri a lovely daughter of the fabulous Fadjur+ Twice US National Reserve Champion Stallion and sire of several superstars! Fadjur+ is the sire of Jurneeka the dam of Khemosabi ++++ …..The cross between Fadjur and Sidi Brahim is the foundation of Los Acres in California and based on the breeding programm of the Jack Tone Ranch home of the last Fadjur. The tail female trace to Saki the foundation mare of the Jack Tone Ranch who was a US National Top Ten mare and to one of her best sons Ibn Fadjur US National Top Ten in Halter and National Reserve Champion in performance. This dam line is well known in USA for its extraordinary breeding abilities ! Sandy is a proven sire of champions and above all of fabulous and friendly all around horses. His foals are our pride and our clients are more than happy with their Sandstorm offspring.
