No words can express my feeling when I’ve looked at the pictures I’m going to share with you now.

Her beauty is just beyond words, I’m so proud to have bred her and to own her. From the day of her birth she was special, and seems she’s going to do that way for a while. Breeding horses is a tough job sometimes, we have to deal with livestock, we experiment death, loss and some moments can be really painful but there are those perfect moments, who makes all the other ones so easier to cope with.

Paloma was the only French entry in this very strong competition. She got 89 points and ended 4th among world class quality fillies. She also got the highest score of her class for legs, which makes me particularly happy because I do not want her to be just a pretty face.

Anyway, I would like to thank the whole team of Schoukens Training Center in Belgium for their dedicated work and can only recommend them if you’re looking for a very serious and capable team for achieve your goals.

Also a big thank to Henrike Hormann for sending those pics to me as I was unable to leave the farm ( breeding duties !! ) for seeing her there by myself.

I do hope those pics will bring you joy and happiness as they did for me !

Breeding season : 9 babies on their way for 2011 !!

Well after many complications this year , hopes , frustrations and so on we succeeded into having 9 mares pregnant, I want to send a big congrats to all my team for its dedicated work, the staff has been fabulous especially Mireille handling the stallions ( who were VERY busy this year ) and Julie and Sophie for handling the sometimes “wild” foals during breeding !! some fun memories and also a big thanks to my vet team.

Congrats to Kenelm Morgane and Thomas Merlin !

Congratulations to the young Thomas Merlin, 13 years old, for his win in the young handler class with Kenelm Morgane during the show in Cluny in France ! Morgane is a daughter of Kenelm Elazri and Kenelm Madison. Morgane belongs to Karine Demeurie who kindly let Thomas show her mare during this event. Thomas and Morgane will be back together in the rings in august during another show in Dôle. Good Luck !!.
