It was also the opportunity for us to meet their breeder
Bobby Stukenhoff a fabulous individual and horsewoman.
Roses is sired by the sensational bay stallion Rave VF, the
full brother of the US National champion stallion Fame VF.
Rave was exported in Australia where he left some excellent
offpspring. Later after Fame's death he came back to the States
and then was purchased by the Stuckenhoff family. He won top
honors as a Reserve National Champion stallion title AOTH
and in 1999 he was named US National Champion in western pleasure.
Quite a success.
Raves and Roses gorgeous face

and above all extravagant animation. The dam of Rave VF is

The dam line of Roses is very intriguing. Her dam MFA Coming
Up Roses was a Scottsdale Top Ten filly as well as Cal bred
reserve champion and she has numerous western pleasure wins
to her credit . A fabulous and very typey mare now owned by
Northern Light Arabians in Vermont USA. Coming Up is a daughter
of US National Champion Fame VF full brother to Fame and out
of Benraz Faancy daughter of multiple champion and superstar
broodmare sire Benraz and out of the aristocrat mare Hi Fashion
Camaar.
MFA Coming Up Roses is born at Morgan Farm Arabians owned
by Sheila Morgan in California and is a product of the world
famous cross between Fame and Benraz daughters. Another Benraz
daughter Benraz Fantasy, full sister to Faancy, is the dam
of MFA Ultra Violet US National reserve Champion and MFA ForgetMeNot
multiple champion and dam of champions in Europe.
Faancy produced also with Desperado V, MFA Maverick US National
Champion trail horse in 2002 but also 2003 US National Top
Ten trail and Reserve Champion in trail AAOTH, 2001 US National
Top Ten trail AAOTH, 1998 US National Top Ten Lady side saddle
western, Reserve National Champion Trail, and Top Ten AAOTH
and 1997 US National Top Ten hunter pleasure AAOTH 18-39 as
well as a long list of championships in ladies side saddle,
trail and hunter pleasure and halter.
Among the other products of Benraz Fancy there are MFA Renown
(x Fame VF) champion in arabian sport horse, dressage and
halter. Plum Fancy (x Padrons Psyche) Region 18 Champion yearling
sweepstakes filly. MFA PhlyteOFancy (x Padrons Psyche) multiple
champion in western pleasure. MFA ChancesNCountr (x CWP Chances
Ares) Champion in Arabian sport horse in hand, multiple champion

Benraz was of crabbet breeding being a son of famous Ben
Rabba a son of Aurab. Benraz has a list of wins too long to
be included here, he was bred by the Soltau family and he
still belongs to them. Born in 1971 this flashy chestnut stallion
with high white markings was the essence of the show horse.
Beautiful with several wins in halter and most classic and
was outstanding under saddle. His first appearance at the
National level was in 1978 at Canadian Nationals where he
was named National Champion in ladies side saddle and Top
Ten in english pleasure. The year after he won a Scottsdale's
reserve championship in Native Costume as well as a Top Five
in english pleasure and at US Nationals, he won two Top ten's
in Arabian mounted native costume and in ladies side saddle.
His last entrance at the National level was in 1981 and he
was National Champion Native Costume. Many other victories
at the Pacific Slopes and Regionals. He was one of a kind
.

Benraz and High Fashion Camaar
He crossed very well with Hi Fashion Camaar
a grey mare born in 1974 and daughter of Camiraff , she
was the dam of 13 foals and most of her daughters became
outstanding producers. Tracing to Azraff, Indraff, Gamaar,
Ferzon, Raseyn, Ferseyn etc … all the dam line of MFA Coming
Up Roses contains more than 20 times the stallion Skoroneck,
the foundation stallion of Crabbet Park.
With a world famous sire line and a priceless
tail female tracing to the source of the arabians who made
our breed's history we have the highest hopes in Roses future
as a producer and in the show ring, she should be shown
as a senior mare halter in Europe and started under saddle
this fall.
