Just one word: eyecatcher. This young chestnut mare bred by Ailton Braga in Brazil was imported in utero to the United States and was born at Michael Byatt Arabians, Texas. We purchased her as a weanling through the first online auction of arabhorse.com. Malanje arrived at the farm in December 2001 with Evening Song who just finished her yearling show carreer in the States. Malanje is the favorite of many of our friends and visitors with her stunning eyes, impressive large forehead, incredible large nostrils and a great overall look and attitude which make of her the one in a million.
She was an awesome foal but she is growing into a real beauty and a real queen of the rings! Malanje will be trained for halter shows in a very near future and she will be one to watch for for sure! She is very hard to describe as she looks like no other horses I have ever seen in my life, she is special and she knows it! Malanje comes from a family of champions. Her sire is Borsalino K a bay stallion who is making revolution in the arabian horse breeding in Brazil. Borsalino let a very few offspring in USA including Malanje and she is one of the very rare in Europe. Borsalino is a producer of extreme arabian type and his children have already proved themselves as impressive show horses and Borsalino is the Winner of the get of sire at the 2001 brazilian national in front of famous stallions Don El Chall and RSC Carhiff. Borsalino's sire was the beloved Encore Ali who was canadian national champion futurity colt and US National Top Ten futurity colt. Encore was sold for an incredible price to Brazil where he died very young. Encore Ali was by the US and Canadian Nationals Champion stallion Ali Jamaal himself a treasure of the breed and sire of so many champions around the world including the US National reserve champion stallion Parys El Jamaal sire of our Scottsdale Winners MSA Evening Song and Arjanna El Jamaal.

The dam of Encore Ali, My Mavica is a daughter of the Triple Crown Stallion Muscat. This lovely mare whom tail female is pure spanish is now a foundation mare at Ventura Farms in California. Borsalino's dam is Keepsake V bred by Sheila Varian , this oustanding mare was US National reserve Champion futurity filly . Keepsake was a daughter of US National reserve champion futurity colt, US National Top Ten Stallion , US National reserve champion english pleasure and four times Top Ten in english pleasure: Huckleberry Bey fundation sire at Varian Arabians and sire of the most popular performance horses producer Afire Bey V. The dam of Keepsake V is by four times US National Champion both in halter and performance and leading sire of champions: Khemosabi. The dam line of Malanje is also incredible. Magic Star is by the legend El Shaklan who was World reserve Champion in Paris, US National Top Ten and had many international championships to his credit . El Shaklan, one of the most influencial stallions in the world has offered his legacy to Malanje. El Shaklan produced super show horses as Sanadik El Shaklan World champion and Egyptian Event Supreme champion and sire of champions and of our beautiful mare Khaptivating Lady. El Shaklan also produced Atlantica World champion mare, Sharem El Sheikh Scottsdale Supreme Champion, ZT Shakfantasy European Triple Crown Winner and Scottsdale Champion. Magic Star is out of a polish related mare. C-Cassandre is sired by Dewajtis a pure polish stallion by Negatiw the famous Naseem son who also sired the world reknown stallion Salon , Dewajtis is a maternal brother of Despekt a famous stallion . Both are out of the legendary broodmare Dysputa who is out of the mare Dyska one of the best producers ever bred in Poland. The dam line of C-Cassandre is a cross between egytpian and polish blood . Her dam AF Serena is by Serenity Mashalla a son of Khofo (x Morafic) and out of AF Indiana a grand daughter of the Fabulous Fadjur who was twice US National reserve Champion stallion.
Malange has inherited the very best of all her ancestors, she shows an extreme and very exotic type as well as outstanding athletic abilities and for sure she will be wonderful under saddle ! Malanje has a very pleasant character, she is very curious and loves to learn new things. She is very quick minded and loves attention, she is a very glamour and sexy mare, she is always trotting the tail over the back and look at you with pride and arrogance.
