Everyone has his favorite, Lady is mine! She is wearing her name very well, she is captivating and she is a lady.

We have bought Lady in Wyoming USA as a three years old from our friend's Bobbi Stuckenhoff stud farm Talking Waters Ranch, on the same day we purchased also Raves and Roses but this is another story!

Lady was purchased first for her very appealing look and her fabulous pedigree. I have always been an El Shaklan fan and by the way an admirer of his best son Sanadik El Shaklan. Lady was a perfect example of this breeding. Lady in Belgium in 2002

Her sire Sanadik El Shaklan is a former world champion colt as well as an Egyptian Event supreme champion. He is well known worldwide for siring fabulous horses full of type and charisma. His daughter Om El Sanadiva was world champion in Paris and is the dam of the 2003 US National Champion stallion FS Bengali, another daughter Om El Jimala is 2003 US National reserve Champion and a son Om El Shamaan is US National Top Ten stallion also in 2003.

Sanadik's sire El Shaklan is one of the most influencal horses in arabian history, he put his stamp on the breed for decades and is still present in the pedigree of some of the most prestigious horses in the world.

Sanadik's dam Mohena is a daughter of the straight egyptian stallion Hadban Enzahi that we really like as he is also the sire of Masan the grandsire of our foundation mare Loïs.

But with her ultra long neck, soft eyes and flashy markings, it is impossible to forget the dam line of Lady which is one of the most valuable one in the United States. Her dam RSD Khaptivation comes from the famous cross between Khemosabi and the Gamaar line. Khaptivation is herself a multiple champion mare at halter in USA.

Khaptivation is a daughter of the all time leading sire in America the great Khemosabi who passed away recently and who is the only arabian horse to win 2 National championships in halter and 2 in performance (western pleasure and english pleasure) the dam of Khemosabi was herself a multiple national champion in halter and performance she was a daughter of the great and fabulous Fadjur, twice US National reserve champion stallion.

The dam line of Khaptivation is also very intriguing. Gaycarona, Khaptivation's dam is a daughter of the legendary straight egyptian Nabiel, US National Champion futurity colt, one of the most important egyptian sire in the world , his sire Sakr is one of the most nationally decorated stallions ever bred in USA. A family well known for fabulous beauty and great athletic ability and action.

Gaycarona's dam Gayamiss is by National Champion Gamaar, sire of more than 300 foals, himself a very influent horse in USA essentially of crabbet breeding, we find him in a lot of champions pedigree. Gayamiss tail female traces to Aramus the famous polish stallion son of Naborr himself by Negatiw the sire of the legendary Salon. *Aramus a famous Park Horse produced great offspring for the best breeding farms in USA. His sire Naborr was sold for $150,000 USD at age 19.

The dam line of our mare Khaptivating Lady is simply priceless. Just to add that her dam RSD Khaptivation produced with the great Bey Shah the lovely chestnut mare RSD Stdg Ovation National Champion of Brazil, US National Top Ten futurity, Scottsdale champion and dam of the well known young promising sire Soho Carol by Ali Jamaal. Another result with Bey Shah was Xceptshan, now in Canada, US National Top Ten.

Khaptivation also produced Raves Khasanova (x Rave VF) a US National Top Ten in western pleasure futurity in 2003.

Lady in Wyoming as a two years old filly

I have met a few horses able to give me goosebumps just with a look in their stable, Lady is among these horses. Always beautiful and proud, the exact image of her glorious pedigree. She has a perfect and dished head, a fabulous throatlatch, incredible long neck, powerful and strong body, great legs and a shiny liver chestnut coloring.

Shown intensively in Europe in 2002 by her close friend Mary Lang she did a great job, always very well placed in the biggest international shows. Just for fun we picked her from the pasture this year for the National Championship and she came back with a National Top Five award. She loves attention she has that extreme willingness which makes the arabian horse so special.
